With the support of UTrust, HES is building a Culture of Appreciation. HES encourages all staff and students to participate in the Birthdate Challenge. Here's how it works: As an example, if Andy’s birthdate is May 17, then every month on the 17th of that month, Andy would select one staff member AND one student to express specific appreciation to! The appreciation may be demonstrated in small ways such as giving a high five, giving a compliment, writing a note, giving a praise shoutout, or simply by smiling and telling someone else to have a good day. The kind gestures are endless and promote a culture of appreciation. Our theme for this year is Kindness Moves Mountains. HES #secondtonone
