Hawkins Elementary is partnering with our local Sonic to sell Community First Cards throughout September. Each card costs $5 and must be prepaid for the student to receive the card(s) sold. The top-selling classroom will be invited to a slushy party at school. All of the proceeds will benefit HES. All money is due by September 30th.

Thank you to all of our students and families who were able to attend ELA night on Thursday.
The students enjoyed the "Blast off into Reading" theme with space themed ELA and Writing activities and tips.
Also, thank you to Mrs. Redding, the ELA teachers and the Family Engagement team for all the planning that went into making this a successful event.

Tomorrow, September 15, 2026 is International Dot Day!
The day is inspired by the children's book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. In the book, the main character is encouraged to leave her mark, even though she has doubts about her ability in art class.
If you have any polka dots in your closet, we encourage you to wear them to celebrate Dot Day tomorrow.
