
Hawkins County School District is excited to offer Summer Learning Camps again this summer for our students who will be Rising 1st-9th graders. Summer Learning Camp will take place for four weeks, four days a week, between May 27 - June 19 from 7:30-2:30 p.m. This camp will focus on rising 1st-grade students through rising 9th-grade students. Parents will be notified of acceptance before the start of summer camp. Transportation will be made available daily. Breakfast and lunch will be served as part of the program.

Our Family Resource Center helps so many families and students within our community. They have a problem and need your help! Their shelves are almost totally empty. If their shelves are bare, they cannot help those in need. Please consider providing any amount of non-perishable food items to the FRC. While you are out this weekend, pick up a couple extra cans or boxes of those staples or even laundry detergent. You may drop them off at the FRC or contact April Couch at ext. 2056 or email April.couch@hck12.net for more information.


Hawkins County Schools will not have school on Monday, February 17, 2025 in observance of President’s Day. February 18, 2025 is a staff workday. We look forward to students returning to school on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Reminder 4th and 5th grade families:
4-H meetings will be held this Wednesday, Feb. 12th. School level Demonstration Contest will be taking place. Please consider participating in this activity.
