Mrs. Blanton and Mrs. Morelock’s team put some signatures in the banner goal! These students showed growth in at least one subject, and several demonstrated growth in all four areas!

As we begin the 2nd nine weeks, with only 44 days completed if your child has missed more than 4 days of school they are on track to become chronically absent. If you're unsure about your child's attendance, please consult our school nurse or counselor. They can provide guidance and support to ensure your child's success in school.

Director Hixson visited CHMS to recognize a TEAM that has been hard at work this summer. Mrs. Sherry Price, principal of CHMS stated “This amazing custodial team came together this summer to make a huge impact on the organization and cleanliness of CHMS.  They have come together as one team to help restructure our school facilities so that the resources are organized and work can be done more efficiently.  They all took great pride in the areas they cleaned and waxed this summer, working around summer school, but still making sure everything was ready by the time school started.  We are very grateful for our custodians and the pride they take in our building.  It is because of them that we have a clean, safe and pleasant environment to work.”  Thank you CHMS custodial team!
