Homecoming Updates:
We are currently planning ahead due to the chance of rain Thursday night.
Unless the game is cancelled, we will proceed with all homecoming festivities as planned. If the game is cancelled for lightning, we will postpone all homecoming activities until October 2.

7/8th Gym
Only students participating in the Homecoming Court and parents should be in the gym.
Ballgame: 6:00 PM
Admissions $5 per adult; $3 per student.
All students who attend any sports activities at CHMS must be accompanied by an adult.
Homecoming Court at Half-time.
IF it is raining during half-time… we will still have the Homecoming Court Presentation. Please be prepared with rain gear and umbrellas.
Both dances will start at 7:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM.
STUDENTS MAY WANT TO BRING EXTRA SOCKS. IF SHOES ARE TOO MUDDY, THEY WILL BE ASKED TO CLEAN THEM OR REMOVE THEM BEFORE ENTERING GYMS.
Students attending the ballgame who want to go to the dance will be escorted by teachers to the dance locations at 7:00. Please listen for announcements.
Only CHMS students may attend the dances. Students who have ISS or OSS that day may not participate in after school events.
All ⅚ students should be picked up at the ⅚ school after the dance. Parents must come in to get them.
All ⅞ students should be picked up at the front of the 7/8 building. Parents are welcome to enter the school to pick them up as well.

These opportunities are for 6th - 8th graders.
Wrestling will begin Sept 29th with a physical check in the 7/8 gym at 2:45. Please have a ride at the gym by 3:30. Regular practice will begin on Sept 30th.
Girls basketball will perform physical checks on Sept 26th in the 7/8 gym at 2:45pm. Please have your ride pick you up at the 7/8 gym at 3:15pm. Tryout dates are Sept 29th and 30th from 2:45pm-5:00pm in the 7/8 gym.
Boys basketball tryouts will be held Oct 2nd from 2:45pm until 5:00pm in the 7/8 gym. Tryouts for football players will be held Oct 3rd from 2:45pm-5:00pm in the 7/8 gym.
A complete physical dated after April 15, 2025 must be on file in the CHMS before you may participate in tryouts.
