Hawkins County Schools will operate on a two hour delay, Tuesday, January 21, 2025. This will allow drivers the ability to see the road conditions in daylight. Please see the HCS website for information regarding bus routes still affected by snow and ice.
Hawkins County Schools is excited to welcome a new staff member- our district therapy dog, Archie. Archie is a 3 year old half lab, half standard poodle mix. Archie has completed obedience training through Sublime Canine in Morristown and is certified as a therapy dog through the American Kennel Club/ Alliance for Therapy Dog Program at Holston Valley Hospital. HES Families: I want to let you know that in your students' folder today you will be receiving a packet of work for POSSIBLE virtual learning days. These are NOT a guarantee or scheduled at this time. We are being proactive and getting the material in folders in the event of a virtual day due to inclement weather, families will have the needed materials.

Tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 17th is Fabulous Fun Friday!! Students will be celebrating their Level 5 Growth Score on the TCAP test with a school-wide Dodgeball Tournament and a movie. Popcorn and candy will be sold. Please send correct change.
